When the universe brings together two souls meant to be together, magical things happen. Together they light up any room and beam with a wonderful energy that makes it impossible not to feel the happiness and love. This is Lainey and Catie in a nut shell, and their energy is absolutely contagious to be around! We could not have had more fun photographing these two beautiful souls in celebration of their engagement
Lainey and Catie were the lucky winners of The Elizabeth Hotel’s exclusive engagement portrait package, so we photographed them all around the stunning boutique hotel, where each corner is it’s own work of art. The day started with champagne and the Grand Stair- one of the hotels most impressive features. We worked our way from there into the lending music library, which is this incredible little room full of records and instruments that the hotel guests can rent and play. Lainey’s solo portraits here were some of our favorites. Her vibe plus the design and textures in the room created these moody, beautiful portraits of her. Next we moved to the terrace where we had the sprawling patio and fresh flowers to work with. Catie rocked her solos here with her soft pink hair and floral dress among the lush flowers.
These two were a complete dream to photograph. We were all laughing and smiling the whole time, soaking up every minute of celebrating their engagement and creating heirloom photos of their love. It was clear to us from the start, these two are made for each other. We’re so happy we were able to be a small part of their story and document this exciting new chapter in their lives!
